The City of Cleveland's vision to promote and preserve the urban forest and improve the management of public trees was a fundamental inspiration for this project.

The City of Cleveland is thankful for the funding and expertise it received from the American Forests Community Releaf Program, the City of Cleveland Department of Public Works Urban Forestry Section, City of Cleveland Office of Sustainability, Davey Resource Group, The Holden Arboretum, and Western Reserve Land Conservancy. Through partnership and a joint commitment to improving the urban forest, Cleveland will once again be known as the "Forest City."
